This is a Serbian dance from the Belgrade area performed during the haymaking season. I've transcribed it from an old LP: Songs and Dances of Yugoslavia, Concert Hall Records CM2229, where it was played on the 'frula', a primitive shepherd's flute/whistle. On the record it is played AABBCCDDAABB.

cool, I didn't check youtube for that - it's obviously a slightly different version of the tune, but nice to see the kind of dance it's for!
