Fergie the Poacher
Written by Donnie Macdonaled and played as a set with Fergie the Gamekeeper on Men of Worth's Great Intentions album. From the liner notes:
"Fresh from a trans-Atlantic phone call to Fergie Macdonald, during which a new tune by Fergie was relayed back across to me in California, I composed a jig with the Moidart groove in mind. This was followed by another jig in the same vein. In dedicating these tunes to Fergie, the titles were drawn from page 116 of FERGIE... 'I suppose I am the archetypal "poacher turned gamekeeper".' This is a must read autobiography! FERGIE: Memoirs of a Musical Legend. (By Fergie Macdonald, with Allan Henderson)'
