18-6 Two Step

Composed by Peter C Davie of Stirling (with help from Bill Cook) to mark a rare Scottish triumph over the 'Auld Enemy" in 1995. Inspired by Jimmy Shand's 6:20 Two Step

I noticed when I played the midi that I had missed a couple of
'accidentals' - I have amended the abc but the sheet music and midi need updating - anyway hopefully you can see what was intendeon't change.

I love this but why is it called an 18 / 6 two step.?? Forgive my ignorancebut why not an 8 / 6two step. Genuine reason for asking.
BTW I seem to remember a crowd of fuballers roaring this out on top o' the pops or some-such. Are my wits leaving me altogether. ?? Genuine reason for asking.
I have to live of my wits and my savings - both inadaquate.
