Atlanta Hornpipe
The title of the tune was actually given to me as the "Atlanta Hornpipe".
However, there is already a tune on the db called "Atlanta Schottische, with an alternate title of "Atlanta". Please note however that the latter has no connection whatsoever with this tune.
But if I tried to submit this tune as the "Atlanta Hornpipe", the word "Hornpipe" would be truncated by the system, leaving just "Atlanta". The latter would then be the same as the alternate title of the other tune already submitted, and would thus be rejected as being a "duplication".
So I opted for "Atlanta Rant", as a workaround.
I understand that it's normally played with no "swing", so "rant" is quite a fair classification anyway - q.v. Morpeth Rant.

Name
Mix, if a tune is called The Atlanta hornpipe, then please call it that. It doesn't matter how many other tunes share the same title (see, for instance, Paddy Fahy's). Your submission won't be "rejected", as you put it, as a duplication—a warning may appear during the submission process telling you it *might* be a duplication but if you know it isn't, you can ignore the warning.
