Audio availability and playing notes
Hi folks,
There is a rough and ready recording of this on my myspace page.
http://www.myspace.com/barrypearce
A few notes on playing. In bars 3, 7 and 8 use half-position. Be careful in bar 9 if you have stayed in half-position as the D is a stretch - you can always move back to first-pos for the B at the start of of bar9.
In bar 13 I tend just to stretch, but again the whole bar could be played shifted down into half position.
Hope this is fun!

Failte! ~ C: Barry Pearce ~ assuming that's the case?
FAQs
http://www.thesession.org/members/index/faqs
Can I submit my own compositions?
Well... The Session isn't really intended for that. If you do post one of your own compositions, then you must do your "penance", so to speak, by balancing each original composition with about five trad tunes. ~ quoting Jeremy, our founder & webmaster
This isn't a comment on the tune, but we have had quite a few newcomers where the first thing they think to do is add their latest inspiration... It's better to direct you to the FAQs now than after 3, 4, 5, or 6 compostions in a row. Yes, we have had that too...
Welcome to TheSesh, may your time here be rewarding and not too frustrating ~ and your future contributions enlightening, informative or at least good craic...

Sorry Barry, I was just going by this, your on site history,
http://www.thesession.org/members/display/41854/history
~ so, are you one of the 'born again'?
Here's another good option for those that can't stem the flow of their muse and who feel the need to share it with others but for whatever reason don't feel capable of meeting the suggestion of matching five for one, dear Reverend adds ABCs for his composition in his details, and, honestly, I love finding these little treasure troves of personal inspirations, and have been known to add one to the main database when it takes hold of me ~

The Jumping Polka
Actually I love it. Makes me work a bit nd it's fun to play this folowed y an "old regular" at sessions - now that I've started playing after an accident.
It's the minor-thing that gets me. I LOVE 'em.
Peter
ps your right Barry the recording is pretty rough. NO insult meant but get someone to give you a few bowing lessons eg ALLways bow ON the beat. Later-on you can chang it back - a little. Slán
