Jenna Reid taught this at the Fiddle Workshop at Orkney Folk Festival in Stromness on 24 May 2008. She did not know whether Martyn Bennett (presumably, the Scottish musician and composer; 1971 – 2005) wrote the tune or whether it was written by someone else for him.

Shouldn't this be in A mixolydian, since all the G's are natural?

It is true that all the G's are naturals. I don't think in terms of modes and I'm sorry if this is wrong. From pre-posting tests, I think the notes will all appear in the right places on the stave.
