Hickey's

There's another tune known by this name in the database but this is the one on Liz Doherty's "Last Orders".

Hickey's (reel)

This (the jig) is not the same tune as the Hickey's on Kitty Lie Over, which is a reel, which is listed on this site at http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/4460

Tune title

From http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/11897/

"Is he the "Hickey" referred to in http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/7817 by any chance? Or is that someone else altogether."

From the sleeve notes of Liz Doherty's "Last Orders":

"Derek Hickey, a great player from Adare, Co. Limerick taught me this first jig. We never did find a name for it!"

Kind of answers the question.
