Here is Lunasa's version transposed in G.

Don't want to seem picky but there are one or two inaccuracies in Slainte's Lunasa transcription. Here's what I hear them playing, again transposed into G:
X: 1
T: Miller Of Droghan, The
M: 4/4
L: 1/8
R: reel

That's one of my earliest posts here. And I admit it's a horribly inaccurate transcription. I haven't heard this tune for long.

Miller of Droghan
I learned this ages ago off the De Danann recording. So my fiddle and flute versions are based on Frankie Gavin's fiddle setting, which I like better than Lunasa's version. As follows:
X: 1
T: Miller Of Droghan, The
M: 4/4
L: 1/8
K: G
G2 BG DGBG|Eeef gedB|G2 BG dGBA|GEGA BcBA|
G2 BG DGBG|Eeef gfeg|fdef dBBA|1 GEGA BcBA:|2 GEGA BA (3Bcd||
e~E3 DEB,E|DEGA BcBA|G~E3 DEB,E|DEGA BA (3B^cd|
e~E3 DEB,E|DEGA BcBA|G~E3 DEB,E|DEGA BcBA||
On flute, the only change is playing those low B,s an octave higher.

I was recently driving back to Massachusetts from Cape Cod and visiting JasonG, and had John Carty's "I Will If I Can" on the cd player in the rental car. His tenor guitar version of this got put on repeat for no little time -- it's lovely (he plays it with Eleanor Neary's), and it was perfect for driving through the lovely green trees and blue skies and waters of a Cape Cod summer...

Guitar chords for The Miller of Droghan
I've been using G, C D, Em and the occasional Bm but there's still something missing. Any suggestions? Thanks

Lunasa
The slowed down version of this by Lunasa on Otherworld is in Bb - the G transcription above will work if you have an F whistle to play it on (and two colleagues also on F whistles
)
Having heard the Lunasa version first it took me a while to realise that the Miller of Drangen (as played by Kevin Burke) was actually the same tune - although the two versions are about as far apart as it is possibe to imagine
I like both versions
