I didn't see this
one on here, even after a note search. Let's not have any unpleasant dissent about this one's origins. It's clearly named after a place for Catholics to go for a few quiet days' contemplation and rest, most likely written in the Blasket islands in the late 1800's.

I'd say the Friendly Visit is a fairly bog standard session tune. Slainte probably plays it already in G, do you Slainte?

I haven't heard or played this tune in sessions yet. But I learnt it from the laid-back flute duet playing of Paul McGrattan and Matt Molloy, who recorded it in G.
