One of John McCusker's tunes - I first heard it on Kate Rusby's album 'Hourglass.' It feels like a slip without the triplets more than it does a waltz.

Different tune
stananivy is a different tune all together. stananivy is the *first* tune on that track. this is the tune used for the song they then go into after stananivy called jack and jill.
and anyway stananivy was written by both john mccusker & kate rusby.

I don't think the composer for this tune is known. I believe I'm correct that Matt Molloy called it "older than dirt."
