Ship of grace

As played by Rob Gordon on the album "I Love Scotland".

Key

Seems to be D Major to me.

Key

Well, the second part is in D Major. Would it be better to switch key? Rob Gordon plays these tunes as a set - the problem is that I don´t know their individual names. It would be helpful if someone could help me identify these tunes!

Well...

It could go either way, but since there aren't any C naturals, I'd probably notate with a two-sharp key signature and I tend to consider the key a piece ends in (excepting picardi third type endings) to be the key of record. From a practical point of view, I think the key listed should be a good indicator of which instruments the tune naturally fits (i.e., which whisltes, flutes--instruments that are in a particular key).

Key

I´ve changed the key signature for the second half of the tune to D major.

a bit of a 'quilt' of a tune:
like it's made of different patches; part one sounds like Open The Door, Part two like the song: The Shuttle Rins...
