I Am Just an Old April Fool

I have to give full credit to whistle and concertina player Neil Brock, originally of Bozeman but more recently at home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USeh?, for coming up with such a great name for a slip jig. In the great tradition of appropriating names and applying them to more than one tune, I stole Neil's idea and gave it notes (or at least different notes than what he composed for his slip jig by the same name).

Mine's a three part slip jig (the ego, super ego and id, no doubt) and it slips (no pun intended, but "there are no accidents") from minor in the first two parts to mostly major in the third. A suggestible friend suggested that the 2nd part is "hypnotic." Hmmm....

Should I be delusional and hope that others might enjoy playing this tune? Or should I project my own fears and inadequacies on others and dread the scorn and derision you will all heap on me for such a poor composition. Well, either way I blame my parents.

:-D
