This is the tune I lilted in the comments box of http://thesession.org/tunes/display/6254
I first heard this tune, with the other one before it, from a tape of a (presumably) Breton band playing a uniquely cool brand of Breton traditional music. I heard this tape in Latvia (it was a gift to my Latvian friends from a Russian visitor), where, sadly, it remains. The only thing written on it was 'Бретанская музика' (Breton music), so I never found out the name of the band. There were many more great tunes besides this one. I wish I could remember some of them.

Uhum? ~
So, have you been neglecting your Latvian friends and not writing them lately? So write them already and while you're extending that consideration and hello ~ ask about the tape...

In the meantime, since this is about links ~ here's the t'other and the die diddle dums ~

And while you're at it, how about a lovely Latvian melody or three...
