Reel for Carl

This is a tune by Jerry Holland.

It is the last tune in the medley (Track 11) played by Pierre Schryer & Dermot Byrne on their 2 Worlds United CD (New Canadian Records - see http://www.pierreschryer.com.

The tunes are Larry Og/Ril Gan Ainm/Reel For Carl.

I gather Larry Og is apparently known also as:

Culfadda
Kiffadda
The Cruel Father
The New Years In
Larry Redigan's

Regarding the key in my ABC version I put in 4 sharps a C#min, but that is not a valid selection here at The Session so I had to put it in E. My theory skills are minimal.

Reel for Carl

This is a great tune. I've been waiting for someone to post it, and I've been debating about posting it myself. I'm just glad someone finally did it.

My music theory isn't that great, either, but I think the key is F#dor, since the F# is your home note. But it's the same as C#min, and Emaj--4 sharps. All those little technicalities I never understood but I know some people (and I'm not including myself in this) make a big fuss about. I don't even know if F#dor is an option on this site. But hey, as long as it gets played right, that's all that matters.

Anyone know the reel in medley?

Does anyone know the reel in the medley sandwiched between Larry Og (aka The Culfadda) and Reel For Carl as played by Pierre Schryer & Dermot Byrne (Track #11)?
