Got this lovely tune off of Phil Hardy's website (under movies section) and goes well with The Bunny's Hat and Trip to Pakistan:

Becky Taylor gave me the dots to it. She said Scottish piper David Lim wrote it.
Its actually in F#m not Emajor, but at least you get the right key signature.

Actually, it should show Amajor (or F#minor)...wrong relative. Jeremy?

Am I right in saying that Mike McGoldrick recorded this. I seem to be able to hear his version playing in my ear - so to speak. There is no link to any of his recordings so I guess that might mean an alternative title.
Or could it have been Flook?

Should have checked first - its on Wired (2nd tune track 11). The only difference in the title is the "THE". Didn't think that would be a problem, it usually gets ignored.

Hah! Fixed the linkage by adding THE.
I know, simple things amuse me.

David Lim is not Scottish. He is originally from Weston Supermare and has lived in Manchester for the past 10 years or so. He is also a superb Luthier. I have a mandolin and bouzouki made by him, beautiful instruments. David plays uilleann pipes and is one of the organisers of the NW Pipers group.

Lim
Fiddlebabe, I already dealt with this Lim issue on another thread in the recording session which is why I ended up here. I quote myself:
"David Lim is 'Mancunian' as far as I know. See this site which even has a photo of the man:
http://www.ceolupnorth.co.uk/musicians.html
And it appears he is still a piper (uilleann)."
Thank you for your additional information.
