Rocking the Cradle

'Le Cheile' played this on their 'Aris' LP, first as a Slow Air 'The Old Man Rocking the Cradle' then they sped it up into this jig.

I personally don't think it works too well as a Jig & believe they should have just stuck with the slow air, but I've included here out of interest, & just in case other folk like it.

I really this song as a jig. I've heard the jig version on the Music at Matt Malloy's recording and it's great!
