Two Sisters
An Ed Reavy tune I've found to celebrate the arrival of my second Belgian granddaughter, Lieselotte, sister to Hazel.
Appropriately, Ed wrote it for his two granddaughters Sheila and Eileen Steskey.
As is not unexpected with Ed Reavy's tunes there is a delightful quirkiness in bars 4 and 5 of the A-part.
The source is JC's Tune Finder.

I just had lunch yesterday with Mr. Ed Reavy, the son, now 83 yrs. old, and Mrs. Reavy, at the Sligo Pub in Media, PA. He suggested I learn this tune since it was one of his father's favorites. I guess I'll have to invert the low B since my instrument is the whistle...But, according to Ed Reavy, the legend, all tunes are at the discretion of the whistler.
That should start a firestorm!!
