Mulcahy Family
Yet another great tune from the Mulcahy Family CD. There's another John Blessing's on this site but quite a different tune.

Charlie Harris
This looks very like one of "De Danann's" "Charlie Harris's" reels. Isn't it here already, possibly under a different name ?

Charlie Harris'
Emily mailed me this tune a few days ago and I told her to post it but she completely ignored me
It's already here in the form of a polka, but I haven't seen the reel version here yet. Maybe I've just missed it.

A lovely reel Kiwi - like so many others such as Jim Donohues, the Mountain Road, etc it's often the simplest of tunes that sound most effective.

Creamer's
I'm pretty sure this is also known as "Creamer's" reel. Desi Wilkinson and Neil Martin played it under that title on "Cran's" 1st CD, the 3rd reel in a whistle duet on "Clarke's C" whistles.
I think also the MacNamara family from Leitrim recorded it under that title.

Sorry
Ignore that. Too early in the morning - "Creamer's " is the other Charlie Harris' reel.

A Lost Jewel
I was shocked that this lovely session staple wasn't in the tune db here. The opening phrase didn't even pop up in advanced search! Maybe I missed something, but al I could find was Kevin Burke's polka version of the same tune. Oh well, here goes; please let me know if this one is already here...

Notes from Keadue 2011
I had this tune from Padraig Sweeney three years ago at the O'Carolan summer school in Keadue, Roscommon. This year I got the tune again from Michael McNamara, who learned it from John Blessing himself in their home village of Carrickavoher, Aghavas, Leitrim. Michael said that Blessing called it O'Connell's Reel. Apparently there are even earlier names that can be found on other web sites.
