Lovely hornpipe composed by Rosie Mulholland of Deanta. On Deanta's CD "Ready for the Storm". I first head this on the CD "Kennedy's Kitchen" http://cdbaby.com/cd/kennedyskitchen
Here's a mp3 clip http://cdbaby.com/mp3lofi/kennedyskitchen-01.m3u
They play it in the key of D which I like, although it requires going up to the 3rd position on the fiddle. Deanta plays it in the key of C.

Oops
Deanta plays this in the key of Bflat - even worse (for me).

Hornpipe!
Funny, I always reckones this one to be in jig time! Great tune, thanks from a rabbit fan.

Sorry
that should have been 'reckoned' of course.

Jiggy wiv me
This is one of those tunes that straddles the line between jig and hornpipe. In Deanta's version, at least, there's a stronger 6-pulse than there is a four... if you were going to annotate their version in 4/4, as is done here, all of those dotted-eighth/sixteenths would really be triplets.
If you consider it a hornpipe, Deanta plays it as literally the slowest hornpipe I have in my music collection. (Or, at least, of the ones labeled 'hornpipe' in my iTunes library.)
