Great tune

I love it, I've just learned it on the whistle and it comes out nicely. Especially when I play it along a friend of mine on the accordeon. Thank you!

Any suggestions on other reels to make a set?

Thanks

I don't know if this is kosher or not, but I've put this at the end of a set consisting of Father Kelly's/Golden Keyboard/Bay of Fundy, as I like 1) the arrangement of key changes (G, em, D) and 2) the ascendency of melodic "centeredness", if that makes any sense. What I mean by that second part is that in general, the tunes' melodies "sit" gradually higher on the staff as the set progresses, giving an overall sense of lift to the set.

Bay of Fundy

The Portland Collection gives the composer as Bill Guest and even gives his own suggested bowing pattern for the tune!
