Dermot McLaughlin's

Picked this up from our session. Tend to play the A-part variation 2nd time thru' instead of just repeating the basic tune.

Yes, I think it might be related to the Sword In Hand http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display.php/1425.

According to various net sources, this is a Donegal relative of the Merry Sisters Of Fate http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/623, popular with the Doherty family.

I realised that this is the same tune as the one that appears on Altan's "The Red Crow". They start with the B-part for effect and then play the tune as normal, rounding the tune off with the same part.
