A tune from the olden days
This tune is an old one, it was collected by Francis O'Neill. Tis nice to have another tune in C, isn't it?
It has a simple melody form, an innocent mood and a rather romantic title!
I assume it was composed(or should I say inspired\given) in times of material destitution but of inner joy that sprang out of the heart. An innocent heart it was, delighting in the moonlight, moreover, rambling in the moonlight!
