Concert?
Hi. Peter - didn't you play this at the Flute/whistle recital at Willie Week a couple of years back? You had another reel coupled with it , I think called "Gerry O'Donnell's". Great whistle tunes the pair of them. If you find the time, sometime...............

The Absent Fiddler
Hi Kenny - you have a good memory. I played this and the Tabby Reel before it at that recital. The Tabby Reel was composed by Gerry O'Donnell and I have it in my tunebook.
I composed The Absent Fiddler and it is dedicated to Paul McNevin who was frequently "Absent" from a gig we shared in Dublin. The plus side was meeting and playing with musicians like Attracta Brady and Peter Browne in his absence.
