As always the ears have it!!! ~ D Mixolydian

I shouldn't have gone with my eyes first, they didn't have it... I needed to play it as I know it, and it hangs on G, and doesn't quite resolve there. It resolves on D while it isn't Major with c natural as an accidental, D Mix it is...

Not "McGreevey's Polkas" after all

I owe you all a correction after a grand concert with Michael Cooney and Pat Egan and tionóilín afterward:

"McGreevey's" is a misnomer (my guess is a misremembered mishearing of "Neily Cleere's"). Piper Cooney got all three tunes from Neily himself and prefers to call them the "Slieve Arda Set."
