This was recorded by Paddy Reynolds and also by Brian Conway and Tony DeMarco, who called it Paddy Reynolds' Favorite. Their versions are close and are the basis for this one.

This tune has a few corners in it and I had a time memorizing it.

Paddy Reynold's Dream

I just learned it this winter, great to see this tune again! It took me a while to get hold of the tricky bits too. This was a 1st place winner in the All-Ireland trios some time back. From an old unmarked tape I transcribed the trio setting in addition to the way I learned it. These are both fairly close to the setting you posted (which I think comes from Bill Black), but a few interesting variations.

My favourite bit is the end of the last part in 2 different ways. Overall I love the swing of this jig.
