Marco's Reel
I got this setting from the playing of P.J. King on the "Maid of Eirin" recording.

Marco's Reel
I recorded this tune under the name The Quebec Reel on my album "Bright Silver Dark Wood". I learned the tune while playing with Siobhan Peoples and Kevin Crawford in Ennis, Co Clare in the early '90's. P.J. King played lots with Kevin and Siobhan around that time so presumably they all learned it from each other or from Marco Pollier, an uilleann piper from France who had come to live in Ennis around that time ( who may have composed it ??). Siobhan had no name for it but I played it one night in the company of Phil Callery and he said that he knew it as 'The Quebec Reel'. Hence my title for it on the album.
