'Wallop the Cat, he's fine and fat, wallop the cat from under the table" was the first line of a song to this air.

Thanks to Dow for "fixing" the link to Taidhgin An Asail's on the recording "Along Blackwater's Banks".

I found this tune after following the link to U-tube given in the discussion topic "tune name". It was the third in a set of 3 slides by an 'Irish fiddle duet' following after "Dennis Murphy's" & "The Lonesome Road to Dingle"...
An identification of the fiddle players would also be nice.
(Hetty, I couldn't find the discussion or the U-Tube or I'd have added the link here. I'll leave that to you... ~ 'c')

No wonder I couldn't find it, not exactly by 'direct means', eh?

Comments & Responses:

"The guy on the left is Matt Cranitch....playing with Seamus Creagh on the right." ~ gwhastings
Your question's answer was just a scroll away...

Seamus now makes his home in Newfoundland, but both are fine fiddlers and particularly good with slides... Cranitch even did a degree dealing with Sliabh Luachra fiddle traditions and styles... I think he focused on O'Keeffe, and I'd love to have that thesis to pour over...
