I learned this tune from the playing of Johannes Schieffner, one of the finest German uilleann pipes players.
Also I've a copy of some sheet music of Leo Rowsome with this tune (about the same version), so I guess was part of his repertoire.

Actually in A Dorian... appears on Ceol Aduaidh by Mairéad Ni Mhaonaigh and Frankie Kennedey.

Pilleadh Wellington

Yeah, it is a nice tune in Ador, and at least the ABC file of the tune should be modified, I think. It may be related to "The Rakes of Kildare."
