Miss Langford's
A single reel I'm getting to know and love. I like to follow it with Bonny Kate. Frankie Gavin performs a more elaborate version on his "Fierce Traditional" cd, and partners the tune in this instance with The Tailor's Thimble.

Miss Langford's
Frankie Gavin also recorded this with "De Danann" on the "Star Spangled Molly" LP. On that recording it was called "Morrison's" - presumably James of that ilk.

Miss Longford
I got a version of this from Bobby Casey and Joe Ryan durign the early nineties and identified it at some point as Miss Longford. It has now appeared on Aoibhinn Crónán as The Lass of Carracastle and attributed to the pen of Paddy Sweeney.
It's not the Lass of Carracastle posted on this site by the way.

Caoimhin O Raghallaigh and Mick O'Brien do a great job on this tune under the name of Miss Longford. A good set is Miss Longford, the Morning Dew, and the Geese in the Bog.
