I'm not sure I want to know the answer, but what the heck is a bog carrot?

Yet another great tune, thanks to Gian Marco. I for one really appreciate your efforts in transcribing all these tunes from recordings--they are eminently playable settings, representing a range of interesting styles and personal approaches to the tunes, and I enjoy your taste in choosing tunes to post here.
