Godfather's Reel
Composed this for my Godfather on his birthday. Me and his daughter Gael Cassidy, a great flute player who has spent alot of time in Clare, played its first performance, but he declared that he prefered "tripping up stairs"... ...oh well!
A slower reel which has hints of toss the feathers, but I hadn't heard or learnt that tune then. Hopefully you lot might like it more than my godfather seemed to!

slower?
I find this tune, if played slow, hints towards a march;
it would take v. little, like removing a quaver here, there (in every beat) to turn it into a nice, laidback 6/8 march, if you see whaa mean?
