Fergie's Jig
A four-part jig composed by Jim Johnstone and recorded on his 1986 album 'Government Warning' (Temple Records), from where I have notated it. It is named after Fergie MacDonald and, like most Scottish jigs, should be played with a slight "dottedness". It has crossed my mind that the A part of the tune might be in honour of Fergie's famous stammer.

Fergie's Jig
Well I've got a bottle of Yorkshire Golden Sheep pale ale as a nightcap. Mmmm.

Rub salt in the wounds... I'm settling in with a ozzie Shiraz. The wife is in love with meaty reds.
I've another jig of Jim's for the weekend. I wonder if anyone else will contribute?
Pleasant dreams!
