Another fine tune in 7/8 (2-2-3) penned by Michael McGoldrick. The A and B parts are repeated once before going into the C part.

Thanks for this. It is a great tune and so nicely arranged on the album. It is a small point but wouldn't the third part be in D minor rather than F major?

Bb wasn't an option -- that would have been more appropriate than Fmaj or Dmin given the accompaniment on the recording. You could also put Gmaj for the A and B parts -- the first time through the accompaniment is in Emin, but then in Gmaj.

Is it just me, or does McGoldrick have a knack for writing really good 7/8 tunes?

A 7/8 tune named after a Breton city and composed by an English guy who plays Irish music, why not...

Lovely tune.

This tune
to me it has distinct bulgarian feel.
I think it is the staple tune of the album.
Bdh thanx for posting.

Love this tune
Thanks for transcribing this great tune. Some of McGoldrick's stuff (okay, most) is pushing the envelope just a little too far to jazz for my tastes, but he really hit it out of the park with this one. I agree, I think this track really is the album.
