This is the same tune as 'Hand me down the Tacklings' from the Gunn MS of 1865, included in the book 'Hidden Fermanagh' and recorded on the CD Hidden Fermanagh Vol 2, played by Catherine Dunne. The tune was given with 3 sharps (A major) and was recorded in that key, which gives quite a different sound to the tune - which is why it's taken me so long to realise they are the same tune. thank you Gian Marco for posting this tune.

Bring Her To the Shelter - The Glen Reel
This is also very similar to 'The Glen Reel' as given in 'The Collected Compositions of Ed Reavy', though in Gmin:
X: 58
T:The Glen Reel
M:4/4
L:1/8
Q:300
C:Ed Reavy
R:reel
Z:Joe Reavy
N:Glens are not always pictures of springtime
N:greenery. Ed remembers them much as
N:Nora did in Syngeis Shadow of the Glen-
N:"and seeing nothing but the mists rolling
N:down the bog, and the mists again,
N:and they rolling up the bog, and hearing nothing
N:but the wind crying out in the bits of
N:broken trees left from the great storm, and
N:the streams roaring with the rain."
N:Ireland is the terrible beauty of the dark glen
N:in the depth of its wild wind and storm.
K:Bb
