En Dro Pitaouer
composed by Alain Leroux (in the 70's or 80's presumably)
(written here from memory)

...Alain Leroux of the Montreal based band "ad vielle que pourra"
I heard this on their "New French Folk Music Album" where it is paired with An Dro Evit Jakez. I like the way this tune dips down to the minor 6th (see The Slow Train http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/10098 for similar construction)

Thanks for making this available.

I would move bars of 2 quarter notes back. Then the accents are placed better.
Like the tune=)

You might be right 'member'. Be mindful of the fact that many Breton tunes (as well as Irish) have a well developped off beat feel though. Dancers' feet rule here! Could anyone with the original tune step in? Any average AnDro dancer could tell us but I'm afraid I'm below average!

In a funny mode
Stuart Morrison's famous reel: Maggie's Pancakes is another example of a Bminor tune that uses to great effect the lower minor 6th (low G)
