BataMbira showcases traditional music in an original context. The percussion playing is world-class, the singing is inspired, the ensemble playing is as good as it gets. The CD is very well produced, with every percussion nuance clearly audible yet in perfect balance. This is the best folkloric CD I have bought in years.
