ten great yearsA variety of musical styles and a wide assortment of artists are brought together on this recording celebrating the first decade of my favorite record label-Dorian. It is all here: early music to twentieth century Latin American orchestral pieces. A lot of my favorite artists (Custer LaRue, The Baltimore Consort, Carol Thompson, Chatham Baroque, and Julianne Baird to name a few) are represented here. This disc is interesting and entertaining listening on its own merits. It is an indispensable introduction to the label. Either way, I recommend it.
