Very serene & peaceful!
I have really enjoyed this CD, it's especially soothing after a long work day! It reminds me of church music (not surprising, given the title;) but I love inspirational music so it works for me!
Celtic Spirit
I am very pleased with my purchase of the beautiful music of Celtic Spirit. It is, of course, a rich presentation of vocal and instrumental music in the celtic tradition. The music flows with the soaring spirit of Gregorian chant. Grounded in a traditional foundation of Irish sacred music, it radiates with the centering peace of Sanskrit anjali and the ephemeral mystery of music from the Middle Ages. Celtic Spirit blends these elements together with an air of spiritual mystery and a renaissance of classical grace. The instrumental and vocal melodies flow like a fine wine; a blend of sunlight and forests, rich earth and clean air with the clarity of crystal waters and the fleeting touch of a breeze. This is music to infuse the senses and lift the spirit. The classical training of the musicians and the expertise of their musical performance and interpretation is beautiful to listen to. Celtic Spirit is a musical selection that I will enjoy for years to come.
Inspiring!
This as an amazing CD. After receiving it for Christmas, I bought a copy for all my musician friends. I highly recommend it.
Sound as if I am in church.
Though my title says chicano_punk, I have an apreciation for music also. I have a church choir, and I wish they would just sound like the voices ensembled in this album. I usually listen to this cd when I am doing my college work or I need to meditate, it is very relaxing. The vocals in this album are wonderful, and I have to say that it sounds good. I usually dislike songs that are ensembled with instruments, and choir voices, but this cd surely proved me wrong. As my comment said, it sets the ambience as if I am in church though, when I am listening to this cd. You should here the previews on this cd, and hear the voices that I am talking about. This is a great celtic album, and if you want something that is mind relieving, then you should listen to this cd.
