He plays on a very high level
Saw/heard him in Dingle Summer '02. His playing on the low whistle, particularly, is sublime. This is as good as anything you are likely to find anywhere.
Hauntingly beautiful
We saw this artist in person at the Small Bridge this summer. The live performance was awesome. This CD is as good as it gets without being there. Eoin's music is highly creative and original. It sounds like a blend of ancient and modern, or maybe I should say timeless. I listen to it frequently for a mood adjustment. We'd love to be able to purchase more work by this artist.
Eoin is one of the best artist I have ever heard.
