Date will be Sunday, March 13th, 2005. We'll be starting around 4:00 pm and finishing when we finish... It's a play -- eat -- play format, meaning that we'll kick off with some tunes, break for dinner when everyone arrives (some will arrive by 6:00 pm), then we'll play for another couple of hours.
We try to get together about once a month (some folks have a distance to drive...) and are trying to focus on the 2nd or 3rd Sundays of each month.
It's very informal, good for beginners (some of us are still getting used to seeing all those notes!!!), and really a great group we have so far. More are always welcome -- I just need to know how many so I can plan for space and food.
Dinner is a pot luck affair -- if you come, please bring some kind of a side dish to share with about 20 others (not all are musicians...that's about 7 or 8 of us right now).
You can find accurate directions to my house on Mapquest. If you're lost, call us and we'll talk you in. Look for the only house with a green roof in the Carol Villa subdivision -- located on the western edge of the community on a dead-end street.
We look forward to greeting new members!!!

Date -- April 10th. Location -- plan on it being at my house (657 Hillsboro Road in Montgomery), but I've got an offer to have it at someone else's house (coworker who's into Irish music, who lives a few miles south of me, also in Montgomery).
Stay tuned for updates!
Same format as previous -- start around 4:00 pm, food around 6:00 pm, then more music until whenever... Potluck is in order -- format to be determined at a later date.
New members always welcome!
Plan on the "next" session to be May 8th (Mother's Day).
Next session, same location, date will be April 24th. That's a Sunday. We start at 4:00 pm and go until we're tired or the neighbors tell us to stop. Mark your calendar now. Pot luck event, several hours of music and fun!
Hi, all! I've moved on to Fairview Heights, IL...but Rita Meadows has taken over the duties as leader of this fearless little group. She's in the phone book in Prattville, AL, if you need to contact her (I'll let her post her own session details).
In the mean time, I'm starting some sessions at my house with the goal of moving them to a stable location or two around the greater St Louis, MO, area. The first session will be on January 22nd, 2006, at 608 Wild Horse Creek Drive in Fairview Heights, IL. More will follow -- goal is monthly. They may be at my place initially, or at some other players' places...will try to keep things posted as I can.
Call me with quesitons on this, if you're interested.
