Session Info

This session has just restarted at this location as it was removed when the place got closed down one sunday as we rocked up to play. After that we had a session without a home and it moved down the street to a restaurant temporarily.
The session standard is variable but is generally at an intermediate level whatever that is. Not a slow session. The main thrust is Irish tunes but certainly a few Scottish tunes get aired.
Start-up time is 5.30pm though not many arrive on time lately, and finishes 8-8.30pm.
All welcome

..and for those who didn't know or just forgot, all pubs in Perth/Fremantle must close by 10pm on a Sunday!!
So no worries about staying out too late.

Change of Venue - as of 4th September 2005

This was known as the Seaview session but has shifted down the road due to a degree of lack of interest on the part of the Pub manager.
Start time has changed to 3pm and we have to be out by 5.30 as they have a "Band" playing afterwards. The acoustics are better than the previous venue.
We kicked off in style today with 7 fiddles and an assortment of whistles, plucked thingies and goat skin.

We are still going strong at this same venue. The session now runs for about three hours 3-6pm and sometimes even a bit later.

Change of time

This session now starts around 3pm and runs until 6pm, when they have a band starting. Some days the band isn't on and we run till whenever.
See you there for a few tunes.
Cheers
Stuart

Oops

Sorry Donough - didn't spot the last posting!

The band seemed to be into the tunes as well and it was a pretty civilised handover when I was last there

Nothing posted about this one for a bit... It's a grand sesh most of the time! The pub has given up on putting bands after us so we often play on later than 6. :)

Just an update to say that this session is still going as before. Supposed to be 3-6 but if you get there at 3 you may have to wait a while before the crew turn up - usually more like 3.30pm.
The pub has just changed hands but so far we haven't been thrown out.
See you there
