Session starts around 7:30. It seems to be the premiere session in Madison and has been going for years now. The pub is a bit smokey and loud, but they support the music and most patrons like it too. I was surprised to find no mention of it on the site!

No smoking, 8 pm start.
Correction to the description above. Madison banned all smoking in bars starting July 2005.

This venerable session has now closed its doors due to the success of the new menu. The search is on for another venue.
