We've just started a midweek session for traditional Irish Music. There is a core of serious amateurs and professional musicians with a varied repertoire. Starts at around 8 pm and will go on into the wee hours if everyone still has the energy.
There are few things more rewarding than watching fine musicians playing for their own pleasure. I've paid for shows of musicians less skilled or entertaining than these. Good session for "the serious amateur and professional musician". Great session for the appreciative spectator!
Rusty Snail has closed. Wednesday session in hiatus.
Sadly, the Rusty Snail went out of business in July/08 and since then our Wednesday night session has been in hiatus. We are exploring a couple of possibilities but haven't found a new home yet. Hope to have something to report soon.
Thanks to all the Snaili Ceili (yes, that's how it was spelled) crowd for some great nights and thanks to Chandra for giving us a wonderful place to play.
