The Ship Inn session has recently started up again - 9pm every saturday.
Being a saturday and newly restarted, attendance is a bit hit and miss, so if travelling, make enquiries first.

From Jan 2008 Session will be 1st and 3rd saturdays each month, rather than every saturday. Pretty good attendence these days, still mixed irish, english, french etc.
What had grown into a pretty good session has just been cancelled by the landlady - apparently we weren't pulling in the punters. It sounds like she wants "Some good joiny-in songs". "Whisky in the Jar" anyone

The Ship session has now finished
Unfortunately, due to Bernard O'Reilly (session leader) being taken ill in the autumn of 2004 this session sadly finished in March 2005.
Also, Trevor the other senior fiddler player has been unwell and unable to attend anymore.
These elderly gentlemen were an inspiration to us all and I wish them all the best in getting back to good health.
