This is a new session. You'd think that it'd be a weird venue for a session and in fact it is a little... but it's been great so far.
When it's nice we play in the courtyard. Guinness on tap. Two free pints for players. Sometimes punters buy rounds too. People seem into it. Cool so far.
I had a recent meeting in Asheville NC. I thought I would like to hear some locals play a few cheuns.
Looked up Asheville in the session list, bingo. Great, French Bar Thursday night.
Emailed ahead for directions and found the session cancelled for the winter. Too bad.
Got invited to a local private session at a home in Asheville. I stopped at a wine store in Black Mountain for a nice Napa Valley Cabernet, reasoning that if they didn't like me, they would at least like the wine.
Had a great time with everyone there, thanks thanks. Made some new friends, got a good list of the local cheuns to learn as I will be back.
Many execellent jokes as well.

On hiatus for the winter
This session will be taking a winter break, to return in the spring when we can once again play in the courtyard.
