Although I dont personally run the session it is open to anybody and I thought I might bring our little session into the twenty first century!
As for the session itself, most people who attend are local or from Tunbridge Wells area, and it is based on the second sunday of each month starting between 8 - 9 pm in the George and Dragon Pub in Speldhurst.
There is a variety of singers and musicians (mostly accordians / squeezeboxes etc) and everybody is welcomed to join in or just watch.
Music played is generally English tunes with a bit or other traditions played sometimes, although I enjoy playing Scottish and Irish tunes on my fiddle and they are always well received.
Generally Speldhurst is a nice area for walking as well beforehand, and you can enjoy sitting outside the pub beforehand, or eat there as they also serve food.
