This session is led by John Carr, fiddler extraordinaire. Ft. Collins doesn't have a huge Irish playing population, so John is thinking he may start the session with some slower speeds and tunes and speed up for the rest of the evening, but that's subject to change and whim. I've committed to being there most weeks, and so have other musos from further south into Colorado.
Still working out the kinks -- the place we thought would work inside the pub may not, as, weirdly, at one end of the table you can hear everything on the other end of the table, but from the other end of the table, it's all a mystery what's going on down there. So, flexibility is the key word for the first few weeks!
This session is moving to Sunday evenings (yes, we know, that's THREE major sessions in the Denver metro area (if Ft. Collins qualifies as the Denver metro area) on Sunday night. We still haven't figured out where the best acoustics are yet.

OKAY. Update on the session again. We're back under John Carr. Sunday nights, 8PM to about 11 or so, sometimes later if we're having too good a time, but rarely past 11:30. Times and actually showing up subject to change, contact John Carr at atomicexhibits@msn.com for info and invite!
Conor O'Neill's closed down in Fort Collins quite awhile ago. Then under new owners it was the Black Oak for a few months and we had a session going there but then the venue closed down! Heard a rumor that the place has been bought but no idea if it will have an Irish theme or not. So we're at the Stonehouse Grill now. See separate posting on that.
