Run by most of the members of local ceilidh band Gypsy's Kiss, evey monday night, kicks off at about 9 ish. Can get very crowded, especially as it is now more popular having moved to the main bar of the pub. Its best not to sit next to the door, as the draft is something aweful, but aside from that, it is a super friendly session, very tolerant of beginers (they even try and encourage them!) and the standard of most of the players is very high. See you there!
Now (for last year or more!) held at Plume and Feathers, Hotwell Road. Generally Irish / celtic session tunes mixed with 'anything goes' songs (folk, cowboy, shanty, old timey etc.)Still on Mondays - mostly the same people and same ethos etc as before - (i.e. easy going , good natured, fun session)
