The Gurnards Head Hotel is on the north coast, a short drive from Penzance or St Ives. The session starts around 9, is mostly Irish and open to all! Any questions please email me at rachaelcain@hotmail.com
I really like this session. Great little pub with a beautiful patio from which you can gaze down a green valley at the sea at sunset before the session kicks off. Really friendly bunch of folks (including the landlord). They're very good players but the session does not have an exclusive feel to it at all. The pub is very out of the way, so not as packed as the St. Just session on Mondays, although that's a lot of the same folks.
C'mon. C'mon!
Is it worth coming all the way down to the wotteffah back of beyond (far more distant than that tiny provincial hamlet of Exeter) or has the blooming sesh had it?
Duncan McTaggart sounds like he means business. His name sounds like a bloke from 'North of the Border' than you wouldn't want to 'fanny' with. I, of course and indeed, could be very wrong...
PS: 'Vanman' soundz like a dodgy bloke from Sarf Lunden- Watch out! Or not!
vanman: Excuse me! I'm from (& live in) SW19 myself!
Now lets get this straight.
IS THIS SESSION HAPPENING OR NOT?
Is Kerri or Rachel there?
Do they know?
And Duncan, have you heard anything?
Has anyone emailed rachelcain@hotmail.com ?
Do any of you happen to collect hotwiter bottles?
Any interest in wig glue, at all?
This session no longer going but check out The Ship in Porthleven every other Wednesday, The Star in St Just every Monday and The Tinners in Zennor every Thursday!
