Mixed-level session with a very friendly but somewhat rotating cast of characters, and home-made food is available (small donation requested). Excellent session for beginners or newcomers to Irish Trad--as a Classical violinist looking to learn more Trad myself, it was a great place to learn new tunes. Folks will slow tunes down for you if you don't know them, sheet music is welcome (and available for sharing) if you are a reader. The regular members play gigs occasionally as the AOH Ceili Band, led by the host of the session, Mary Ann Beach. Come on down, we love new people! Starts at 8pm every Wednesday. To get in, go down the stairs and ring the bell (the door is usually locked), one of us will let you in.
